Seedballs are an inexpensive and efficient solution to planting seeds at scale. We plan to use Seedballs to rekindle biodiversity, renew lost habitats, and battle deforestation.

Seedballs are made of compost, clay, and native seeds.

Do Seedballs require any special gardening tools?

No, the Seedball uses a “Throw and Grow” planting method which requires no extra gardening tools.

Could you possibly make one at home?

You can easily make Seedballs at home by using our Beyond Terra ingredient mix which will be available on our store.

What are Seedballs made of?

The Seedballs are made of a clay, compost, and seed mix. The clay is used to hold water in while the compost is used to nourish the seeds inside.

Are Seedballs more effective than traditional planting methods?

Seedballs are a fun, innovative, and easy alternative to conventional planting methods. Seedballs require less maintenance than a traditional plant, utilizing a “Throw and Grow” planting method with minimal water needs.

Can you add fertilizer or mulch on top of Seedballs?

Yes, organic fertilizer and natural compost can be distributed on top of Seedballs with minimal impact on germination rates.

Do I need to smash the Seedballs when planting?

No, as the plant grows, the roots will naturally break out of the Seedball. But you should press them into the soil and make sure they are secure.

Do Seedballs need to be watered in dry conditions?

Yes, the Seedballs, like conventional planting, still require water. However, their fitness is much higher due to the layers of nutrients and protection around them.

Are results instant for Seedballs?

Seedballs like any other planting method require a few days to weeks for sprouts to emerge depending on the species.
