Conservation Projects

We give students an opportunity to restore and preserve Bay Area biodiversity by holding community-driven conservation and stewardship projects.

With the partners that grant us land, we hold projects that follow our general plan:

  1. Land Preparation

  2. Creation of Seedballs

  3. Maintenance

Local students, Boy Scouts, and community members come together and work to create High Biodiversity Gardens. High Biodiversity Gardens are plots of land with extremely high native biodiversity, serve as Monarch Waystations, and are built by the Beyond Terra volunteering team. We use our Seedball technology in these projects and work with the California Native Plant Society to design the land with effective native plants.
