The SeedDrone Team

We aim to combat deforestation through the use of Seed Dispersing Drones. In the past year, we have planted thousands of seeds in various sites around the Bay Area.

Our drones are remotely controlled and perform autonomous actions that deploy our Seedballs. Each drone has a dispenser that is controlled by an Arduino microcontroller and can hold up to 100 seedballs at a time. Through the use of customized flight paths, our drones are able to drop seeds at the most optimal locations.
