Vegan/Vegetarian for the Environment

INTRODUCTION

Eating a vegetarian and vegan diet has many benefits such as helping with climate change and protecting rainforests and land. Around one-third of Earth’s landmass is used for meat production.

“Research shows that meat and dairy products are fueling the climate crisis, while plant-based diets—focused on fruits, vegetables, grains, and beans—help protect the planet.” —PCRM
