Plastic Pollution is plastic waste in the environment. Plastic pollution has many negative impacts, such as altering habitats, changes in the environment, food production, animal health, etc.

ACTIVITY 1

Plastic Water Bottle Craft (By Mom Junction)

Materials: plastic water bottles, scissors, paint, markers // Duration: 10-15 minutes

  • Have students cut out the bottle of the water bottle

  • Decorate the water bottles and let them dry off

  • The plastic bottles can be used in multiple ways

LESSON

Millions of animals are killed yearly due to plastic pollution. Plastics are not composable, which greatly affects our environment and much more.
