Noise Pollution

INTRODUCTION

Noise pollution is unwanted or disturbing noise (EPA). Noise pollution can lead to health effects such as increased stress levels, hearing loss, sleep disruption, etc.

“The fact that you can’t see, taste or smell it may help explain why it has not received as much attention as other types of pollution, such as air pollution, or water pollution.” — EPA

ACTIVITY 1

Noise Pollution Worksheets (By EPA)

  • Have students fill out both pages of the worksheets (individually or in groups)
